One of the most important parts of a game day party is the food. Planning out a game day party menu can be a little daunting so today I’m sharing my perfect game day menu, complete with everything from your traditional wings to my own german chocolate football cake!
Since the big game tends to be pretty long, I almost always provide at least one or two big items that you could consider “dinner” items. And then lots of apps, snacks, and dessert. And since I know nobody really wants to slave for hours in the kitchen before your game day party, these recipes are all quick and easy ones, other than the chili, which is easy but does need to cook for about 30 minutes.
Start the night off right with the perfect appetizers. My favorites are hash brown cups, buffalo chicken bites, and Tyson® Any’Tizers® wings. And don’t forget to provide dipping sauces for the wings. Evite has an amazing collection of five delicious classic dip recipes that go perfectly with wings like blue cheese and a smoky bacon ranch dip!
Next, fill up your guests with game day staples like chili and pizza. I personally like to go the non-traditional route with my husband’s delicious white chicken chili recipe and my all-time favorite pizza loaf. Both are simple to make for a big crowd and football fans of all ages will love them!
Last but not least, don’t forget the dessert! My menu includes a delicious chocolate caramel sweet popcorn, German chocolate football cake, and these football stadium cookies from Living Better Together.
And there you have it, the perfect game day menu! That’s one part of your party planned, finish up your planning with these 25 great game day party game ideas!
