Very Berry Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Ever since I met with a nutritionist last year who told me that it’s better to eat your smoothies than drink them, I’ve been a huge fan of the new smoothie bowl trend. While I love me a good green smoothie, they never left me full, so I always ended up snacking within an hour or so after my smoothie breakfast.
Smoothie bowls are a game changer and honestly I almost never finish an entire one because I’m full by about the time I’m 3/4 of the way done.
I was in a patriotic mood this weekend with all of the Memorial Day celebrations and needed something to balance out all the red, white, and blue cheesecakes I ate.
This red, white, and blue smoothie bowl isn’t just delicious for patriotic holidays, it’s delicious year-round.
How to Make this Berry Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Simply combine all the ingredients in your blender. Pour the smoothie into a bowl then top with your favorite fresh fruit, nuts, and granola. For this bowl in particular, I went with red strawberries, white bananas, and blueberries – hence the red, white, and blue smoothie bowl!
