I’m just going to say it, running all the time can get incredibly boring. To combat the monotony of running I do two things. First, when I am running I always listen to good music. This running playlist is full of my all-time favorite running songs and this workout playlist is perfect for strength training days.
And second, on the days that I don’t run, I like to try out a variety of fun workouts. I’m actually a member of my local gym and do their classes often to get variety but another great way to add variety to your workouts is by trying out different workout DVDs. These are ten of my favorite workout DVDs that all are a little different and help add variety and fun to your weekly workouts! If you do one of the workouts that combines strength training with cardio (e.g., 30 Day Shred), you can skip the strength workout outlined above.
