As part of my church, one of my responsibilities is to help plan and run a week long camp for young women ages 12-18. This year our overall theme both for camp and for the church wide youth program is to embark in the service of God based on this scripture. And for our young women’s camp, we are going literal and doing a nautical/cruise themed camp using the embark scripture. I thought it would be fun to make these DIY embark sweat pants for the four of us leaders so that we can wear them as we go to meetings, meet with the girls, etc. These sweats literally took me just a few minutes to make and that included making the cut file. If you have a Silhouette, they’ll probably take you half that time just using the free cut file provided.
To make the pants, I just cut the design out of vinyl using the free cut file. Speaking of vinyl, I’m participating in Crafting in the Rain’s A to Z craft month and I’m letter v, hence the vinyl! If you’re using a Silhouette, you can use this tutorial to cut out the design if you’ve never cut heat transfer vinyl before.
You can download the free cut file by clicking on the image or link below. Then make sure to head over to check out all of the other awesome crafts that are part of Crafting in the Rain’s A to Z Craft month series!
