I am so excited to be joining some other amazing bloggers today to share Halloween crafts that you can make in 15 minutes or less! I’m sharing this candy corn treat plate that literally took me just minutes to make, and those are the kinds of crafts I like best.
Okay, so confession, I love candy corn. It’s one of my secret obsessions in the fall, and I buy it pretty much the first time, and every time, I see it. And I know candy corn isn’t really Halloween as much as it is fall, but I’m planning to use this treat plate for my Halloween party, so I think it counts. And if you don’t think so, then you can make this as a fall decoration and skip over to the other 15 minute Halloween craft ideas instead!
- Styrofoam Cone – any size, but I used 7 7/8 inches x 11 7/8 inches
- White, orange, and yellow yarn
- Small white plate
- Hot glue gun
- Candy Corn
Step 1 – Make one styrofoam candy corn using this tutorial that I posted last year. It took me about 5-10 minutes to make one candy corn.
Step 2 – Cut the white portion of the candy corn you just made off the top of the candy corn.
Step 3 – Hot glue the bottom half of the candy corn to the bottom of the white plate, making sure to center it as much as possible.
Step 4 – Hot glue the white portion of the yarn candy corn to the top of the plate, making sure to line it up with the bottom half of the candy corn.
Step 5 – Add candy corn and display in a fun area for all to see! And make sure you have plenty of candy corn on hand because with this cute display, it’s sure to get eaten quickly.
