Looking for a great gift for kids who love cars, racing, or speed? Look no further! With tilt turn action, a cool design, and safety features to keep parents happy, it doesn’t get much better than the Power Wheels® Boomerang™. Guaranteed to put a smile on kids’ faces and wind in their hair as they speed down the street.
A couple of weeks ago we got the Toys“R”Us stores catalog in the mail and being the good mom I am, I decided to sit down with my son to start his holiday wish list. You know the whole let’s circle anything you’d like to add to your Christmas list thing. We should’ve done the reverse and only circled things he didn’t want, that would’ve bee much less. His choice for a big present? The brand new Power Wheels® Boomerang™. He knew nothing about it except it looked awesome in the catalog, kind of like his very own little car.
Santa was apparently listening because one showed up on our doorstep a few weeks later, just in time for a beautiful 80 degree fall weekend in Texas. Maybe not fall weather but still beautiful. The perfect weekend for a little father son building project and to race up and down our neighborhood – my son in his Power Wheels® Boomerang and my husband on feet. Me? I watched from the sidewalk and enjoyed the gorgeous weather.
It wasn’t long after they started that my husband came up to me and said, “I want one.” Not a Power Wheels® Boomerang™ of course because it’s made for kids ages 5-10, but an adult-version. It was that cool.
The Power Wheels® Boomerang makes the perfect holiday gift for any kid who likes to drive, race, or just go fast. Kids will love that the vehicle tilts while turning for more intense turns, that it has all-wheel drive to go over sidewalks, grass, and even rough terrain, and that it just looks cool. And don’t forget to grab a sweet pair of shades to go with it, they make it even cooler.
My son would probably drive his all day every day if I let him or if the battery lasted that long. The battery dying was literally the only thing that got him back inside without having a melt down at getting off his car.
And parents? They’ll love that there’s a slow and fast mode, an adjustable seat belt, high sides and advanced stability control so the wheels stay on the ground and kids won’t fall out, and it even has Power-Lock® brakes. I never at any point felt like my son was going to fall out, even when he was going up over sidewalks and doing crazy turns. And that’s definitely not the same as other ride on cars we’ve tried out in the past. I actually felt safe letting him drive this one without me right by my side.
