A delicious Who pudding recipe inspired by the Grinch Who Stole Christmas! Layers of cake, pudding, and frosting combine for one whimsical and decadent dessert.
Start by preheating your oven according to the directions on the box for a 9×13 cake. Line two 9x13 cake pans with parchment paper.
Mix the two sets of cake batter according to the package directions, each in their own individual bowls.

One the batter is mixed, add red food coloring to one cake batter and pink food coloring to the other.

Pour the red cake into one of the prepared baking dishes and pink cake into the other. Bake in the oven according to the package directions then allow the cakes to cool in the pan.
Pull the parchment paper out with the cakes and cut the cakes into small bite-sized squares,
Pudding Filling
Cream softened cream cheese until smooth with either a hand mixer or in a stand mixer.
8 oz cream cheese
Add instant pudding mix and milk to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding, 2 cups milk
Fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is completely mixed together. Set aside.

Pudding Frosting
Prepare frosting by combining heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and pudding mix. Whip until it is thick and fluffy, but don't over mix.
2 cups heavy whipping cream, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/3 cup instant vanilla pudding mix
Put into a piping bag until ready to pipe.
Who Pudding
Put down 1/3 of the pudding filling down into a trifle dish.
On top of that, add about 1/2 of your red cake squares.
Put another 1/3 of the pudding filling on top of the red cake. Add all of the pink squares on top then top it off with the final 1/3 of the pudding filling.
Top with the remaining 1/2 of the red cake squares.
Pipe a layer of the pudding frosting on top to cover the red squares.
Add Dum-Dums and sprinkles to the top of the cake to decorate.
Notes
Wipe down the edges of the trifle bowl as you go if you get pudding on them to keep the outside clean. This will give you a nice clean look to the pudding once it’s done.Store in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for up to three days before throwing away. This does not freeze well.
