This cute Halloween bat craft can be made in minutes with some popsicle sticks, paper, and the free printable template! This easy craft is great to do at your next Halloween party to get everyone in the Halloween spirit!
Hot glue four popsicle sticks together as the base. Then break a popsicle stick in half and glue one toward the top of the bat and one toward the bottom of the bat on top of the base.
5 large craft sticks
Paint the popsicle sticks a nice dark black color.
Black paint
Print out the bat template and cut out the pieces.
Bat template, 2 pieces white paper
Use a pencil to trace the pieces of the bat template on the colored pieces of paper. Or just place the pieces of the template on the papers and freehand cut around them. Cut out yellow eyeballs, black eyeballs and wings, a pink mouth, and white fangs.
2 pieces white paper, 1 piece pink paper, 1 piece yellow paper, 1 piece black paper, 1 pencil
Glue those pieces right on top of the bat once the paint has dried.
Notes
Make sure to let the glue dry both on the popsicle sticks and on the paper pieces. If kids start playing with these too early, the glue tends to move around a bit if you use traditional glue sticks or white glue.Get the free bat wing template at the bottom of this post.
