8ozHunt's Tomato Sauce(just about 1/2 of a 15 oz can)
½tablespoondried oregano
½tablespoondried basil
½tspdried rosemary
⅛tspdried thyme
¼tspkosher salt
¼tspgarlic powder
For the Pizza Pies:
Homemade pizza sauce(see recipe above)
PAM cooking spray
2pre-made refrigerated pie crusts
Mini pepperonis
Mozzarella cheese
Sliced black olives
Instructions
For the sauce:
Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
For the pizza pies:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Spray four 6" glass pie pans all over with PAM cooking spray, making sure to get both the bottom and sides of the pan.
Roll out your pre-made pie crust.
Using the rim of a 6" bowl, cut a 6" circle from the rolled out pie dough. Place circle immediately into sprayed pie pan gently pressing up onto the sides to form a "pie crust."
Top pie crust with 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of the homemade pizza sauce.
Top with a pinch of mozzarella cheese, mini pepperonis, and black olives. Finish with more mozzarella cheese on top.
Using the pie crust leftover after you made the circles, cut out a large star (or other shape) and place directly on top of pizza toppings.
Put four pie pans on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until star on top is lightly browned.
Serve hot or at room temperature.
Notes
I didn't put measurements for the pizza toppings because it's up to you how much you use. If you like your pizzas super cheesy, pile on the cheese. You can also substitute any of the pizza toppings for your family's favorites!
