A delicious and simple glazed ham that uses apple cider and brown sugar to add some sweetness and spice to the ham! The perfect ham to serve for Easter or Christmas dinner or to use for ham sandwiches!
Preheat oven to 350°F and place your ham in a baking dish.
8 - 12 pound bone in spiral sliced ham
Combine the apple juice, brown sugar, and spiced cider mix in a medium sauce pan and bring to a soft boil, then reduce heat to medium low.
1 1/2 cups apple juice, 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, 2 packets spiced apple cider mix
Continue cooking until sauce thickens to glaze consistency, stirring often. This will take about 10 - 15 minutes.
Carefully pour half the glaze over your ham, spreading it evenly over top of ham.
Bake until center of ham reaches 140°F, about 1 1/2- 2 hours depending on the size of your ham.
Once ham is fully cooked, pour the remaining glaze over it and put it under the broiler for about 5-7 minutes, until glaze caramelizes.
Remove from oven and serve!
