Gumdrop punch is a bright, colorful, and fun holiday punch that both kids and adults will love! It’s inspired by colors, shapes, and assortment of sizes that you find in Whoville but with classic flavors that make it perfect for any Christmas celebration!
Start by filling each small cup with a scoop of sherbet, about 1/3 of the way full.
1/2 gallon sherbet
Once the sherbet is scooped into each cup, measure out about 1/2 cup (4 oz) of soda into each cup of sherbet.
2 liter 7UP
Top the soda with whipped cream and place a couple of gumdrop candy on top of the whipped cream. As an optional garnish, place gumdrops onto stir sticks or toothpicks and place them in each drink.
1 can Spray whipped cream, 64 Gumdrops
Serve immediately.
Notes
This recipe is written for you to make this punch with either raspberry sherbet + cherry 7-Up or lime sherbet with regular lemon-lime 7-Up. It will make 16 servings of either using the measurements above. Want to make this for a large group instead of individual cups? It’s just 7-up and sherbet so here’s how I’d do that instead:
Add the entire half-gallon of sherbet to a large punch bowl. Use a wooden spoon to break it up slightly but no need to form perfect scoops.
Pour the entire 2-liter bottle into the punch bowl on top of the sherbet. Use the same wooden spoon to mix the two together without totally dissolving the sherbet.
Serve into individual cups and let people garnish their own with whipped cream and gumdrop stir sticks if they want.
