This baked apple crumble is a delicious fall treat the entire family will love. Soft apples with cinnamon are topped with a sugary crumb topping for one delicious soft and sugary apple dessert.
Wash, core, and cut your apples into small cubes. Place in round or square baking dish.

Add sugar, cinnamon, raisins, almonds, and lemon juice and combine together.
2 TBS brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 cup almonds, 3 TBS lemon juice
Mix flour, sugar, pinch of salt, and melted butter together. Stir with a fork then knead with your hands until the dough comes together. Do not over mix.
2 cups white flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 salt, 1 cup butter
Spread the crumble topping over the apple mixture in an even layer.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the crumble on top is golden brown and the apples are cooked.
Serve warm either plan or topped with fresh whipped cream or ice cream.

Don’t peel your apples if you want to add a bit more nutritious value to the apple crumble and save time.Melt the butter to make the crumble topping crispier.Replace the raisins with craisins or dried cranberries for a tart variation on the dish.Double the recipe and cook it in a 9×13 pan to feed a crowd rather than just a family.Knead until the crumble comes together but not any longer. Once it’s together, move on and place it on top of the apple filling.
