Easter is one of the few holidays that is all about the meal and spending time eating with your family and friends! It’s also the perfect time to create a pretty Easter table that will have your guests admiring every little detail. So grab the fancy plates, wash the tablecloths, and set the table for a meal with your people.

Pretty Easter Table Ideas
People spend so much time making an Easter meal of glazed ham, homemade crescent rolls, and the perfect mashed potatoes that often times they have like no time left for what the table itself looks like.
I’ll be the first to admit that 99% of the time that my family gets together, the table has nothing but a table runner on it. But Easter is special, and I think it’s fun to make the table as pretty as the food!
So I’ve come up with a huge list of Easter table settings that are not only beautiful but that you can recreate in your own home with things you already own, things that are easy to buy, or things that you can make. I like a pretty table but I like a pretty table that doesn’t take a ton of time or money even more!
An Easter table is much like a snowflake; no two will ever look the same. That’s why I put together a list of table settings with a bunch of different styles as well as the things that I love most from each of the tables and how you can take that element and use it in your own Easter table!
Design It Around a Design You Love
There are infinite ways to decorate a table, which can be overwhelming. Make it simple, and find something you love, like a bunny plate or napkin, then go from there. These are all great examples of tables decorated around something bunny-related.
A good example is this pretty and pink one that’s designed around the cute bunny plates in the middle of the place setting. I really want this bunny collection myself, it would make such a pretty Easter table setting!

Or this one where the combo of the greenery and a well-placed bunny napkin make this table not only pretty but easy to recreate at home with fake greenery you can get anywhere during the spring season!

Use Easter Candy as Centerpieces
In this fun spring party, the host filled jars with jelly beans and used them to add pops of color with the spring tulips. There are a ton of different Easter candies you could use from jelly beans to chocolate bunnies.

DIY Pieces to Customize Your Table
In this table, Stacy from Not Just a Housewife couldn’t find braided placemats the color they wanted for their table so they painted them to make them match. You could do this with all sorts of different elements! It’s also a great way to save money by making your own!

And in this one, she added a pop of color onto the place itself by adding carrot cake cupcakes! Everyone knows it’s okay to start with dessert for Easter.
She used cupcakes but you could easily use our cream cheese sugar cookies with names iced on top, Easter dirt cups, or really anything Easter related and sweet!

Use What You Already Have
Instead of buying a bunch of new Easter decorations, look at what you already have and create a table using that.
For example, this table used all different sizes and colors of Easter eggs as a gorgeous Easter runner right down the middle. There are all sorts of ways you could use Easter eggs to decorate, and I’m sure you have those already!

Another great example is simply filling an Easter basket with eggs and flowers! If you’re hosting Easter, you probably have an Easter basket laying around that is just dying to be made into a centerpiece! And if you don’t, I highly recommend this floral one! This centerpiece is gorgeous but you don’t even have to get that into it.

Embrace Easter Colors
Easter is all about color so embrace that like they did in this table. It’s filled with all sorts of colors, textures, and shapes that are perfect for an Easter celebration!

Personalize the Easter Place Settings
That coveted golden egg (you can’t have an Easter egg hunt without a golden egg) gets a new purpose in this charming setting that comes personalized with one of your guest’s names. Personalizing things just makes thing feel well, more personal, and that’s never a bad thing!

Add Little Details Worth Talking About
So many of my favorite Easter table settings have little details that if you don’t look close you might miss. Like the cute little bunnies holding eggs in this party. They add a lot to the design without it feeling overly cutesy or too bunny themed.
You can often order things as a set (like I’m dying over these fun Easter trays) but a lot of times you can also find them at thrift stores not in a set and you really don’t need a full set unless they’re part of the actual place setting.

Fold Napkins Into a Focal Point
Another great and inexpensive way to display the egg is in a small nest wrapped in a napkin, like on this table. It’s a great blend of organic materials, minimal style, and using the napkin in a more creative way than just sitting next to the plate.

Use Shaped Plates
Skip the real eggs and use egg plates instead, like this cute table. It’s whimsical and playful in the best way. You can do eggs, chicks, bunnies, or even flower plates to change things up.
Some of my favorite plates I’ve seen that would work for Easter include these daisy plates (so cute), these egg shaped bunny plates, and these cute bunny plates that would be perfect for the kids table!

Something about this table’s cute cabbage plates and bunny ear napkin reminds me of Peter Rabbit, in the best way. Even though the rest of the table setting is pretty basic, the plates really set it apart.

Use Fancy Napkins
This isn’t the time to fold up some paper towels and add them next to the place settings. Go for the pretty, colorful, and fancy napkins to tie everything together. I especially love the really fancy ruffle napkins in this setup.
While I know they don’t go with everything, I’m kind of obsessed with these embroidered flower napkins.

Go Green
This green table setting uses just white, green, and brown – all natural colors – to really make the green colors pop. It’s perfect for a spring celebration where green is popping up all over the place!

Mix Metals
This gorgeous table incorporates gold, silvers, and speckled metal eggs in a way that really pops among the green and blue color scheme. If you want something a little more elegant, mixed metals is the way to go.

Use pretty Glasses
Everyone always focuses on the pretty plates and this setting does have those but the thing that I love the most are the unique floral painted glasses. They’re just gorgeous and really make this table setting stand out! Get something pretty but still universal enough that you can use it for other things like Mother’s Day and showers.

Keep It Simple
The single stem on the plate in this table is elegant in the best way. It’s perfect, simple without looking lackluster or overwhelmed with unnecessary decor. You could even just use a pack of these soft faux tulips instead of a real one!

Use White Plates with Bold Colors
If you want to go with a louder tablecloth like this pink gingham one, pair it with white plates with a simple design like Amanda did in this setting. It still looks gorgeous without being too much.

Embrace Spring Flowers
This spring table is proof that you can never have too many flowers. This one uses various floral plates all paired with fresh flowers of course. And while they’re not shown in this display, I’m obsessed with these floral candle holders – they’re gorgeous!

Mix and Match Darks and Lights
This spring table combines the darker colors of winter with soft spring colors for a beautiful design that’s bold yet somehow soft as well.

Take It Outside
If you can, a spring or Easter table outside always makes things look prettier. Just look at this gorgeous table set next to the greenery of a garden. It’s a great way to make colors pop and put everyone in a better mood – just make sure the weather is nice!

Play with your table setting
This table captures the joy that comes with spring with its playful colors and what reminds me of bunny ear chargers. Such a fun way to combine different florals and color combinations.

Keep It Low
While I’m all for huge tulips and floral centerpieces, if you really want people to be able to talk to each across the table try doing a living tray that’s lower like they did in this party. It’s still full and beautiful, but you can see over it!

Make it Interactive for the Kids
This table has it all: carrot coloring cups, Easter basket centerpiece, and of course, coloring page placemats (or just add these Easter coloring pages to the tables).

Let the Kids Play
This playful kids’ table has little takeaways just for the kids – sequin carrots and bunny poppers. It gives them something to do while they’re waiting or done with their food!

Add a Sweet Treat
Don’t forget to save some Easter egg fillers to use as decor for a kids’ table! Toss them into a few baskets, add some flowers and cute paper plates, and the table is ready to go. The kids will love enjoying the jelly beans before dinner!
If you want to use this idea in a table that’s not just for adults, try putting the snacks in something a little more elegant like this adorable bunny snack bowl.

Make the ordinary whimsical
This clever table uses toys from around the house. Simply add some bunny ears onto whatever toys you choose, and it’s ready for a kids Easter table that will have them giggling and playing throughout the meal.

Use Paper Plates for the littles
This kids’ table shows that the right paper plate can make the entire table come to life. And we all know that kids do best with paper or kid-friendly plates. This keeps them from breaking the nice dishes and makes it easy to just toss the plates in the trash after they eat.

Pick a Fun Theme
A carrot-themed table has never looked so good. This playful table is simple to look at but has a lot of good ideas that kids will love, including their own candy jar. The kids will totally get the carrot theme, and it’s simple to stick to!
