Bible Study Tools: Printable Scripture Study Ideas
A couple of weeks ago my church women’s group hosted a fall in love with the scriptures night that was all about making scripture study a more regular, consistent, and personalized thing.
We talked about everything from ways to help with family scripture study to using LDS.org to do online scripture study and keep your notes all in one place. As my contribution to the evening, I created this free printable scripture study guide with 50 creative ways to study the scriptures – not just from start to finish.
I spent a couple of hours doing research and looking for creative and unique ways to study and found a ton of great ideas. Some of my favorites came from this scripture study guide and from a forum on SugarDoodle where people gave their own personal tricks.
So I don’t take credit for many of these ideas, just putting together the printable. I created a small version (for good ideas) and a larger version if you want to print it out and put it wherever you normally study your scriptures, or even folded up in your scriptures.
I for one can’t wait to try these Bible study tools for making my scripture study even more impactful.
You can either use one of these ideas for your reading for a long period of time like a year, or you could switch it up and try something different all the time. Whatever you choose, the goal is just to get you reading.
This list would also be perfect go along with these scripture study bookmarks I made for the Come Follow Me lesson on scripture study.
I’m sure young women would love to see different ways to make their scripture reading more interesting and varied since so many people just get bored reading the same thing over and over again. This is a great way to make it interesting again.
