I love Halloween but hate Halloween costumes, so it’s probably no surprise that I put off coming up with a Halloween costume until the very last second possible. One year I went as Carrie Underwood and just wore some black boots and brought a baseball bat with me. Last year I threw on a superhero shirt and walked around with my little Captain America. This year I’m still deciding, and it’ll likely be a game-time decision depending on how long I have to get ready. If you’re like me, try one of these five last-minute costumes to still look dressed up without having to try too hard.
#1 – A Superhero
It doesn’t matter which one, just pick your favorite. You can buy masks and full costumes for pretty much any of them on Amazon or even better, just buy a mask and wear a t-shirt with their logo on the front. So simple.
#2 – A princess or queen
Grab a tiara, put on a tutu or a pretty skirt, and layer on the costume jewelry. You don’t have to be five to be a princess.
#3 – A Cat or Mouse
This has been my standby many times; pick up or order a headband with pointy ears, draw on some black whiskers, and wear all black.
#4 – A Crayon
Wear all of the same color and put a matching colored bucket or cone on your head. Easy, peasy.
#5 – An athlete
This was my go-to costume in high school. Put on a jersey or uniform and carry some sort of sports equipment with you. I can almost guarantee you have all of those things around your house.
Need more ideas? Take a selfie and upload it into the Fanta Freaky Foto Booth to see what you’d look like in a plethora of different costumes. I liked the hamburger but have to say the clown is a little freaky. And while you’re thinking about your costume, head over to 7-11 where you can pick a 20 oz bottle of orange Fanta, my favorite Halloween drink (if you couldn’t already tell by last year’s Fanta party).
