DIY Cucumber and Honey Face Mask

Make this DIY cucumber and honey face mask with just a few ingredients that you likely already have at home. Mash up a cucumber, mix it with a little yogurt and honey, and you’ll have one great moisturizing homemade face mask. 

I’ll be honest, I’m not the best when it comes to taking care of my skin. It’s pretty dry, and I’ve never had a ton of acne, so I wash my face when I remember or need to take my makeup off. I’ve had a couple of facials in my lifetime and while my face feels amazing afterwards, I kind of hate the actual facial process. I feel like I’m drowning and can’t breathe during the steaming part. Every. Single. Time.

So I don’t really get facials anymore, mostly just massages. But I still love to use a good mask. I have a couple from spas that I love, but they can be a bit intense so I don’t use them often. Instead I often make my own homemade face masks for a bit less intense experience while still getting the benefits of the store-bought ones. They’re also perfect for pamper spa parties!

DIY Face Mask with Cucumber, Yogurt & Honey

This homemade cucumber mask mostly uses ingredients you already have on hand. And if you don’t, they’re easy to pick up or order online. Mix cucumber, honey, and plain yogurt together for a simply moisturizing mask. And then add my secret ingredient, Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Water – Cucumber Aloe. It’s made up of organic pineapple, organic cucumber, aloe vera, collagen, and probiotics. And it has a wonderfully subtle cucumber scent that adds nicely to this mask.

How to Use the Cucumber Face Mask

To apply the mask, simply use your fingers and apply liberally to your face. Allow to sit on your face for 10-15 minutes then wash off with warm water.

Ingredients

• 1/2 large cucumber
• 1 TBS plain Greek yogurt
• 1 TBS honey
• 1/2 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Water - Aloe Cucumber

Instructions

• Pulse cucumber in blender until pulpy, but not totally liquified.
• Mix cucumber with honey, yogurt, and beauty water until well combined. Do not blend again or the mixture will be too thin and fall off your face. 
• Apply mask to face liberally. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes then wash off with warm water and a washcloth.
