This banana bread is one the most moist banana breads that I’ve ever tried, perfect for a holiday breakfast or snack. Thanks to #CollectiveBias for giving me an excuse to make it! It’s a great way to #TasteTheMiracle!

An easy and delicious banana bread recipe, perfect if you like banana walnut breadThere are few things that remind me of my mom more than banana bread. She’s the first person that introduced me to banana bread as the perfect way to use those bananas that you just never got around to eating. She also taught me that banana bread needs, yes needs, nuts. The crunch of the walnuts in this recipe adds so much to the moist texture of the bread.

I found this banana bread recipe on the KRAFT website and was so intrigued by the secret ingredient KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing that I knew I had to try it.

I picked up the KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing at Walmart while I was picking up some goodies for my New Year’s Eve party. I decided to buy the 30 oz jar because when I make banana bread, I like to make more than one loaf so that I can eat some myself and make some for friends.

The bread is so simple to make. First, gather your ingredients. In addition to the KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing and bananas, you’ll need flour, sugar, one egg, salt, baking soda, and Planters Walnuts.

First, whisk your mashed bananas, KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing, and egg together until well combined.

In a separate bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients and chopped walnuts together.

Mix the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined. Pour into a bread pan sprayed with nonstick  baking spray then bake for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Once the bread is done, let it cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack.

Slice and enjoy this yummy bread with your friends and family. I used the recipe to make some just last week and am planning on making it again with my mom on Christmas Eve morning for a yummy holiday snack. This was one of the most moist banana breads I’ve ever tried and the KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing kept the bread moist even a few days later. My husband even commented on how moist it was, and he’s normally the one who points out how dry baked goods are.

It would also make a perfect holiday neighbor gift if you pair it with this “We hope your Christmas isn’t too bananas” printable. Click on the image below to download the free printable.

It sounds strange, but the Miracle Whip really does make the bread so moist and tasty!

I would have never thought to use Miracle Whip in my baked goods but it does make sense that it would make them moist! I’ll have to try it! Thanks for the tip!
