This banana bread is one the most moist banana breads that I’ve ever tried, perfect for a holiday breakfast or snack. Thanks to #CollectiveBias for giving me an excuse to make it! It’s a great way to #TasteTheMiracle!
Now if you’re like me, you avoid eating those bananas just so that you can make banana bread with them once they’re just a little too ripe for eating in any other way. I found this banana bread recipe on the KRAFT website and was so intrigued by the secret ingredient KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing that I knew I had to try it.
I picked up the KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing at Walmart while I was picking up some goodies for my New Year’s Eve party. I decided to buy the 30 oz jar because when I make banana bread, I like to make more than one loaf so that I can eat some myself and make some for friends.
The bread is so simple to make. First, gather your ingredients. In addition to the KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing and bananas, you’ll need flour, sugar, one egg, salt, baking soda, and Planters Walnuts.
First, whisk your mashed bananas, KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing, and egg together until well combined.
In a separate bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients and chopped walnuts together.
Mix the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined. Pour into a bread pan sprayed with nonstick baking spray then bake for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Once the bread is done, let it cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack.
And the last step? Slice and enjoy this yummy bread with your friends and family. I used the recipe to make some just last week and am planning on making it again with my mom on Christmas Eve morning for a yummy holiday snack. This was one of the most moist banana breads I’ve ever tried and the KRAFT MIRACLE WHIP Dressing kept the bread moist even a few days later. My husband even commented on how moist it was, and he’s normally the one who points out how dry baked goods are.
It would also make a perfect holiday neighbor gift if you pair it with this “We hope your Christmas isn’t too bananas” printable. Click on the image below to download the free printable.
