This easy strawberry pineapple sorbet recipe is the perfect treat after a good workout or even just a great healthy treat for a hot summer day. Thanks to Blendtec for providing me with a Blendtec Designer 625 and Twister Jar try out for this post. While this post may contain affiliate links, they’re only to the products I actually used!
I love fruity things. Most of the time in my life when I’m craving something, it’s something fruity. This strawberry pineapple sorbet is one of my favorite ways to crave my need for something sweet without eating something super sugary. It’s one of my favorite post-workout treats, especially after a good half marathon training run.
The key to making this sorbet is the blender. I had the chance to try out the Blendtec Designer 625, and it’s the perfect blender for making this sorbet. It’s high-powdered enough to turn the frozen fruit into a creamy sorbet with just a small amount of liquid in just minutes, no ice cream maker necessary. My old blender never would’ve cut it.
You could use the regular container for the sorbet, but I prefer to use the smaller Blendtec Twister Jar, since I tend to make just enough for 1-2 servings. If you’re making more, just double the recipe and use the regular sized jar. Making the sorbet in the Twister Jar couldn’t be easier; you literally put the fruit and coconut water into the jar, turn the Blendtec on, and twist as you go to turn the fruit into the creamy treat. Once it’s all pureed nicely together, take it out and enjoy with a little fresh fruit on top if you want. You’ll never miss the sugar that comes with store-bought sorbets and ice creams.

Strawberry Pineapple Sorbet
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/4 cup coconut water
Instructions
-
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. If using a Blendtec Twister Jar, continue twisting while you blend.
Recipe Notes
This makes between 1-2 servings depending on how much you eat. If you want to make more to freeze, just double or triple and use the larger blender container.

There are tons of things you can make with the Blendtec Designer 625 and Blendec Twister Jar like this strawberry spinach salad and vinaigrette from Frenchie Wraps and this roasted poblano hummus from Cupcakes & Crowbars.
