My little sister got married a few years ago and I had the joy of planning out her bridal shower games.
We did these bridal shower minute to win it games and a couple of quieter printable ones like this love story game! I still can’t believe it’s been over two years since her bohemian bridal shower!
And I of course got her these date night cards as her gift just in case her brain doesn’t work anymore once she’s working full-time and in school! It’s an entire year of dates all in one cute card deck.

Love Story Game Supplies Needed
This love story game is a hilarious one both to watch and play. The printable has mixed up phrases for 20 different popular romantic movies (e.g., daughter of a king getting married = Princess Bride).
All of the movies are pretty popular ones but if you’ve never heard of one of the movies – don’t feel bad. I haven’t actually seen all of them either!
If you’re more of a song person, I’ve also got a love song version that has people guessing popular romantic songs instead!
Or if you want to get a little more challenging, this bridal shower guess the emoji game is great too!
Simply print out one copy of the game for each person who will be playing. The PDF comes with two to a page so that should help save on paper at least. Make sure you have enough pens or for people on hand as well.
How to Play this Printable Bridal Shower Game
Then there are two ways you can play.
You can either give everyone a copy and when you say go see who can figure all of them out first. Or you can just let people fill them in at a leisurely pace and then at the end see who answered the most correctly. If there’s a tie, come up with some simple tie breaker to choose a winner.
I purposely made them fairly straightforward rather than super tough so that even people who’ve never heard of or seen the movie can still get it.
Make sure to have a prize on hand for the winner. Pretty sure this romantic comedy movie collection or this movie night basket would be the perfect prize!
