I’ve never really been much of an artist, but I do like a good coloring page. And both of my boys really like to color – one inside the lines, one all over the page – so I always try to find fun coloring pages to print for them.
Instead of looking for coloring pages from other people this year, I thought I’d finally share some of my own Halloween coloring pages! These work for kids of all ages whether they’re in the line or out of the line colors!
I tried to keep the pages from being too spooky but also not too cutesy so they would work for any age from toddlers coloring all over the page to older kids who like to color, shade, and perfect their art.
These would pair great for a classroom party with this Halloween word search, this Halloween i-spy, and these Halloween would you rather questions! Or set these free coloring sheets out at a Halloween party and let kids just color the free coloring pages to their hearts content!
They’re also a great way to keep kids busy for a few minutes during the Halloween season if you need to do something like wash the dishes from making all the Halloween treats!

Halloween Coloring Pages Pack
The set of Halloween coloring pages comes with ten different designs ranging in Halloween characters from witches and their black cats to mummies and goblins. There’s a bit of everything so kids can choose what they like and color what they want whether they want a spooky holiday scene, a not so spooky Halloween night picture, or even just cute Halloween characters showing off their latest Halloween costume!
My recommendation? Print out a handful of each of the pages (or at least your favorites) and let kids choose their favorite. You never know which one they’ll like most – my oldest wanted to color a Frankenstein bear while my youngest wanted to color the mummy because of the bird in the picture.
Oh and don’t forget to give the kids some Halloween party snacks to munch on – perfect for eating while they color!

Ways to Use Printable Coloring Sheets
If you’re not sure how to use these free printable coloring pages, here are some ways I’ve seen them used in the past that work great!
- School work – Morning work or activity sheets for classrooms during Halloween week
- Art station – Halloween pictures make an excellent holiday craft, especially for preschoolers!
- Halloween activity bucket – print some out and put them at a Halloween activity station along with other Halloween activities like these Halloween trivia questions, this Halloween truth or scare game, and other things that kids can just do on their own during free time!
- Halloween parties – you can setup a table with a bunch of Halloween coloring pictures, art supplies, and even some DIY picture frames if you want so kids can make their own masterpiece!
- You’ve been booed buckets – add these fun Halloween coloring pages to boo buckets along with your favorite Halloween treats (these Halloween pretzels would be perfect), little goodies, and these cute boo tags for a great Halloween gift!
