If you’re looking for the the best Halloween party snacks for school that every kid will love, look no further. Here you’ll find great ideas from healthy options to spooky desserts that will work for even the pickiest of eaters. No matter what you choose it’ll be a spook-tacular hit!

As an elementary school room mom for the past who knows how many years, I can tell you – volunteering to bring snacks for school can be stressful, especially for a holiday party. Often times you have to deal with school regulations, food allergies, and more.

It’s a lot. I get it, so I did my best to make the process of choosing what snack to bring as enjoyable as possible. After all, parties are meant to be fun!

I found some of the cutest Halloween snacks out there and put them in one easy place for you to search through. With a little bit of everything you should have no problem picking the perfect Halloween treat for your class party.

One of the key components to picking the perfect Halloween party snacks for school is making sure that they can individually divided, passed out, and enjoyed.

While this marshmallow monster dip is delicious, it’s not going to make a good option for a classroom Halloween party because hello double dipping! Instead, look for things that are individually wrapped, pre-packaged, or can be passed out to students!

And for all those classroom moms who are looking for more than just food ideas, try out these fun classroom party games! I did them with my son last year and they were a huge hit.

Healthy Halloween Snacks

Halloween season with kids can often mean having literal buckets of candy lying around, the sugar overload is real. This list of healthy Halloween snacks has great ideas that let you focus on fun Halloween characters without contributing to the sugar high.

And don’t worry, kids still love a lot of these easy Halloween treats because they still look super cute. A banana that looks like a ghost is a much better option than just a banana. They’re healthy treats, not just healthy foods like celery sticks and carrots.

Savory Halloween Classroom Snacks

If you’re looking for savory snacks, here are a few options that work great for younger-grade snack time or to serve alongside a sweet treat to balance it out.

Stick again with ones that can be individually handed out, skip the savory appetizers like our Frankenstein guacamole that everyone shares one dip.

Also, the items I put on this list are things that will still taste good for kids served at room temperature, not necessarily things that need to be either hot or cold.

Tip!

If you will be giving out a lot of candy or the kids will be getting a good amount of candy, I recommend limiting the sweet treats and sticking with more of the savory and healthy Halloween treats. Even on Halloween, kids don’t need candy plus tons of sweet treats.
